Editorial standards
Banking is a high-stakes decision, so our data is held to a high bar. This is exactly how Upcapital Global FZCO sources, verifies, and corrects everything you see on Bankz.
Every figure has a source
No fee, eligibility rule, approval signal or rate appears on Bankz without a linked source (an issuer page, regulator, partner feed or our analyst desk) and a confidence score. If we can’t source it, we mark it “needs verification” rather than guess.
Two independent sources to be “Verified”
A data point is only labelled Verified when at least two independent, reliable sources agree. Single-source figures are shown as “estimated”. Confidence decays over time until a value is re-checked.
We re-verify on a schedule
Rates and card terms change. A daily and weekly refresh re-checks time-sensitive data; stale values degrade to “needs re-verification” instead of showing a wrong number. Every page shows when it was last verified.
Independence — no pay-to-rank
Rankings come from the Bankz Trust Score™ and your-profile fit only. Sponsorship or partner fees buy labelled placement, never a ranking or score change. This is enforced in our code, not just promised, and is a binding term of every partner agreement.
We show uncertainty honestly
Confidence pills, “last verified” dates and clear “estimated vs verified” labels are on the data itself. We would rather show a lower confidence than a false precision.
Corrections
Found something wrong? Tell us and we fix it fast, update the source, and re-grade the confidence. Accuracy is the product; a correction is a feature, not an embarrassment.
Not advice
Bankz is an information and comparison service. We introduce and inform; we are not a bank, broker or adviser, and we don’t move money. Always verify terms with the institution before acting.
